I always knew I'm a different one. Don't get me wrong, I'm different as you are. I just recognize my importance on the planet. It's such a coincidence that my birthday is also Earth Day. The message was there at the beginning of my journey.
The year that I seek for spiritual journey started with blue skies and turned into a dark night of the soul—very complex. There was joy, curiosity, dismissiveness, pride, ego, winning, losing, getting up, and giving up.
It was my journey to find my soul, and I was lucky to have traveled to various countries, cities, cultures, and most importantly, to have met different people.
Some of them whispered guidance into my ear, some were there silently teaching me lessons, and some were just avatars I created for my own illusions.
If you want me to be honest about why I was so late to find myself, I can easily say it's because I didn't trust that I was capable of finding myself, or maybe I was scared enough to avoid it.
When the day arrived, I felt like everything I had achieved didn't mean anything anymore. I needed to find a way to survive, and bliss just appeared to enlighten my journey. The toughest part of accepting the search for the right path over 27 was how close the bliss was.
I left my home, I left my town. I took many walks around the world in different weather, trying to find the real magic, escaping from a voice without knowing it follows you anywhere you want to be. It feeds you, bites you, hurts you, loves you, and makes you pay the price for it, over and over again.
I believe in God because I've always been an analytical person about religion. Raised in a very complex family with different opinions, I was confused about finding the real answer, and I couldn't find the courage to enter the cave, even if the treasure I seek is there.
God is the only power that can humble my self-respect and show me how to love others. Experiencing a small part of his love has shown me that love is the most valuable thing to pursue. I believe that spirituality gives meaning to a person's life and that we must adjust our time to respect old versions.
I navigate my world by appreciating the existence of others. I am the main character of my own illusion; situations will come and go, I will rise or fall, I will skip levels or fail, and I will face the same circumstances repeatedly until I find peace within myself. Regardless of your location, whether you are walking in a famous jungle, sitting on the same white sand where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed a movie, in the most spiritual temple, or in the most luxurious part of the world where people carry thousand-dollar bags, the journey is about finding that peace within.
I love the feeling of being a part of this magic, and I'm happy that I'm capable of knowing what the real magic is—me, myself, and the Being.
